“이 약속은 우리 열두 지파가 밤낮으로 간절히 하나님을 받들어 섬김으로 얻기를 바라는 바인데….” (행 26: 7a).
하나님의 약속은 우리에게 큰 소망을 줍니다. 사도 바울은 이렇게 말합니다: “아그립바 왕이여 이 소망을 인하여 내가 유대인들에게 송사를 받는 것이니이다” (7b). 아브라함과 맺으신 약속을 지키시기 위해 주께서 오셔서 십자가를 지셨고 다시 오사 영광의 나라를 이루실 것입니다. 이 소망이 큽니다. 어떤 환란과 핍박도 이 소망을 끊지 못할 것입니다.
“주님, 지난 밤도 보호해 주셔서 감사합니다. 신실하신 하나님께서 그 약속하신 것을 반드시 이루심을 믿습니다. 오늘도 저희들 그 영광 소망하며 모든 어려움 넉넉히 이기고 믿음과 소망 가운데 즐거워하며 기뻐하게 하옵소서. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.”
“This is the promise our twelve tribes hope to attain as they earnestly serve God day and night…” (Acts 26:7a)
God’s promise gives us a great and living hope. The apostle Paul says, “It is because of this hope, O King Agrippa, that I am accused by the Jews.” (v.7b)
To keep the promise He made to Abraham, the Lord came, took up the cross, and will come again to establish His glorious kingdom. This hope is immense. No trial or persecution can separate us from it.
“Lord, thank You for watching over us through the night. We trust that the faithful God will surely fulfill all He has promised. As we look to that glory today, help us overcome every difficulty with abundance, and let us rejoice with faith and hope. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
